Interesting facts: The willow tit is easily mistaken for the marsh tit. They can be distinguished from each other by their songs and habitats. It feeds on insects, their larvae, spiders, seeds and also pollen. Food reserves are created under tree bark and between lichens and mosses. The bird can also be seen at bird feeders in winter. The monogamous pairing tits both work actively at building a hollow.

Characteristics: Beige-coloured plumage with light head and black crown and white fleck
