Interesting facts: The meadow pipit likes to stop on fresh marshes and fields when passing through. Here, the female builds the unremarkable nest on the ground from stalks and moss. The meadow pipit feeds on insects and spiders. Rarely, snails and seeds are also on the menu. Its song is presented during short fluttering flights.

Characteristics: Back and wings olive-grey-brown, abdomen beige and smutty white striped, crown and eyes dark, mask and lore light, strikingly strong claws

Body length: Less than 20 cm (sparrow length)
